My computer screen isn’t broken, but the zoom for when I play games like pogo.com or anything else, the zoom doesn’t go down on the game-to show the chat, game, and other features. I can zoom down on my computer screen and it just make it smaller(I still can’t see the WHOLE game). I anyone has any suggestions, I would be more than happy to try them! Thanks so much guys : )

This computer is fairly new and it came with Vista. Yeah, I know. Vista sucks, so you don’t have to remind me. It’s the Vista Home Premium 64-bit version and I CANNOT get Java to work. I play games on Pogo.com, which requires Java, and I have tried everything.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it through Java.com a million times. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it through Pogo a million times. I have done my Windows Update. I have restarted, not restarted my computer. I have gone to file websites to get different “environments” and nothing. It shows it is downloaded, updated, and working but I can’t get it to work.
I’ve tried it on the 64-bit browser, the 32-bit browser, and Firefox.
Microsoft charges $60 to ask a question… so no.
Anyone know the the heck to do next?
And don’t say get rid of Vista and get Linux. Won’t happen.
Yes, I know Vista sucks. We covered that.

this stinks. my parents won’t allow me on myspace or anything like it. ex. talking online with strangers (vmk, habbo hotel) things like that b/c when i was about 9 i was chatting with this older man on pogo.com and i was banned from the computer for about 6 months. my parents were really angry at me. so now they don’t have much trust in me. altho i have been on vmk once and my mom caught me and i got in trouble.
what can i do to get their trust back and go on myspace and facebook and things like that??
p.s. i might get my own computer but they aren’t too sure and r afraid i might do something wrong but if i do get one ill have a blocker on it .
please help!

Can anyone help me with Java? Every time I try to play games on pogo.com it says I don’t have Java installed on my computer. So to fix the problem I went to Java.com and tried to download the latest version of Java, but it said I already had the latest version installed on my computer. It told me that java might not be enabled on my computer so I followed the steps to enable it by going through internet options under the tools menu in internet explorer. I also went to the control panel and opened java there to enable java there and make sure internet explorer is the default for browsers.Next I cleared my cache as it told me to do on java.com. None of that worked. I deleted and reinstalled it 3 times and once more to reinstall it manually. The only problem I noticed is that a java icon down at the bottom right in the system tray. And its also not under the tools section under manage add ons. Does anyone have any advice?!

If this question is answered like my last one telling me about eharmony stuff, you will be reported. Below, i have stated exactly what i want.
I have been looking for a website that I can play life simulation games and date simulation games. I am a young adult (19) so I don’t want the little girl games. I DO NOT want the websites where you virtually date someone and chat with them. I want it all to be fiction. I want something along the lines on the Sims Hot Date or the one they used to have on Pogo.com. I want it to be a GAME and it has to be ONLINE. I hate downloading games because my computer already has problems. I just want a date or life simulation GAME. thanks!
i want a GAME! I dont want to virtually date somebody. I have a boyfriend, i just want a game to entertain myself online while he plays halo. Please do not answer with answers like the real world is outside, or in that game you can meet peopl and ask them out, or i met him or her here…thats not what im lookin for.

I feel like I’m back in high school looking for websites to play games on that my company’s administrator hasn’t taken from me yet. He took pogo.com from me this morning and now my work is all caught up and I just finished Scar Tissue. So I don’t want to hear read a book.
shockwave, ebaumsworld, yahoo games, pogo are just a small percentage. I found a german website that had every classic nintendo game ever made. But I forgot that one.. : (
